Does FreedomFiler come with an index of what papers to file and what not to file in any folder?
Yes. FreedomFiler has three indexes you may use, depending on how your brain works or what problem you are trying to solve:1. LABEL INDEX - allows you to look up any of the pre-printed label titles and see a description of the documents to be filed in that folder - e.g. what documents are filed in "Service Providers"? Often notes are given regarding documents not to file or alternatives for subdividing the file if you choose.2. QUICK INDEX (DOCUMENT INDEX) - allows you to have a document in hand, and then look up where to file it. This index is deliberately done in a simplified (almost flow-chart) style. This is an index that actually teaches the concept of where to file any document, so you don't need the index after a while (but its always there if you need to refer to it). Most FreedomFiler labels are self-indexing once you know the color coded section to file under - e.g. Insurance Policies are filed in "Insurance"!3. COLOR GUIDE (INDEX) - allows you to look up what documents to file and what documents not to file in any of the color coded sections of your filing system. This simple chart has the benefit of teaching you very quickly what the color classifications mean and what types of documents go inside each.
